But recently, the whole Iglesia ni Cristo members were disturbed by the video released by one of the highest ranking officials of Iglesia ni Cristo Felix “Angel” Nathaniel Manalo. I feel that I should also share experience of my roommate in school. Her name is Linda, a 3rd year student of the Chemical engineering department. It happened that she met this man from a particular social network called “badoo”. At first, she was always excited every evening when this man calls her on phone. I was genuinely so much happy for her, because she has gone through a lot in the hands of terrible men. The man on this particular day invited her to his country side, but since she had never met him before, she begged me to accompany her to the place. So we both decided to make a 6hour trip just to make her happy. Meanwhile, I called my Pastor and told him about it, he tried to stop me from following her. I never wanted to look like enemy of progress; I decided to pray and ignore my pastor and follow her on that said day. On getting to the said address, he was there waiting for us. We exchanged pleasantry as we followed him to the room where we will pass the night, so I excused myself from the room to allow them have plenty of time to themselves. I didn’t eat from him that night because we ate on the road while coming. I was just too tired, so I dosed off. Around 2:15am exactly, I heard some noise, so woke up and turn on the light in the sitting room, it sounded like a serious struggle. So in my mind I felt probably they were having sex, I tried to ignore the noise, but I was kind of disturbed. Linda managed to let out a scream calling out my name, immediately I jumped up. I dashed straight to the door, it was locked, I did all I can to open it, but no avail, I no remember the technique my younger brother taught me about door locks, so I immediately tried it on the door and it open. I was in shocked when I discover a snake swallowing my roommate, which was all I remembered. Next was that, I woke, but the snake was just still and calm steering at me, it couldn’t make any move, I ran out to call for help that morning, it around 6:40am, so passersby came by to help, but it was too late. Doctors urge gov’t, private sectors to determine milk tea victims’ cause of death
A group of physicians urged both the government and the private sector to determine what killed two people who died after drinking supposedly poisoned milk tea.
In a statement, the Philippine College of Physicians said that stakeholders should work together to trace the possible sources of the ingredients of the milk tea drinks from Ergo Cha shop in Sampaloc, Manila.
“The batch that the ingredients were sourced has to be checked [to] find out where else these were distributed so these can be isolated and immediately tested,” the statement said.
“The ongoing investigation also needs to immediately verify if this is an isolated case to address the scare that may affect the livelihood and economic interests of the industry involved in street beverages,” it added.
In its update on Monday, the Department of Health said that samples of the milk tea tested negative for the suspected toxic substances of cyanide and arsenate.
“Those substances were not actually detected, but we need further confirmatory tests. May ibang substances pa po na iko-consider once we will complete the investigation with PNP and the toxicologists,” said Food and Drug Administration’s Acting Deputy Director General Lulu Santiago during the press conference on the case on Monday.
Representatives of the DOH and the PNP went back to the tea shop to procure more samples. They will also obtain biological samples from the victims.
Although the health authorities have not yet determined the victims’ cause of death, they already said that the incident is likely an isolated case of poisoning.
PCP also called on the sectors involved to put up an information dissemination mechanism so that the public can monitor similar cases.
“This will somehow help allay fears and misinformation caused by this incident,” the group said.

When urged by her friends to lodge a complaint against the establishment, Jems said she will do it one step at a time.
In another post on Sunday, the customer swore that it was her last time to buy a drink at Starbucks.
In the comments section, she told a friend that she was on her way to a medical check up.
Jems claimed that the particular Starbucks branch messaged her for a settlement, which she apparently refused.

Vincent Andy Magnaye, who uploaded the video on Facebook, said he heard the strange sound around 3 p.m. last Thursday, June 4.
We have noticed in the comments section of Magnaye’s Facebook post that no one corroborated or gave support to his claim. Nobody said they also heard the strange sound in their town or barangay.
Netizen Robert Romero Villar in his comment on Trending News Portal said Magnaye’s video is “just like the other fakes who took parts of the original audio from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcUDYBIrWio – released from August 2011,” referring to the following video taken in the capital Ukranian city of Kiev almost four years ago.
Villar noticed the “same bird chirping pattern, same bird call, same horns, [although at a] different volume [level].” He also noted that “a button was pressed” at around the 47th second of the video.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 17-year-old uploader said he heard the eerie trumpet-like noise while browsing the internet at the terrace of their house in Barangay Masagitsit, municipality of Lobo.
Magnaye said he felt goosebumps and didn’t know where the sound came from.
He said the animals in their surroundings were acting strangely as the weird sound went on for about 7 to 10 minutes, adding that birds were flying without clear direction and their dog looked like it was afraid of something.
Did he lie to get media attention? Maybe, but why?
This hoax might be blog revenue-related. The uploader could be related to Von Jovi Magnaye Sabido, owner of a blog called The Pinoy Scoop, who is notorious in the bloggerverse for his alleged content copy-pasting.
But it’s really up to people to decide on who and what to believe.

Jesus died on the cross to provide the way for us to receive forgiveness from our sins. The Bible provides many details regarding this sacrifice of Jesus.

God created man in His image, meaning they also had the freedom to make decisions and choices of their own free will.Genesis 3goes on to describe how Adam and Eve succumbed to Satan’s temptations and lies. In doing so, they disobeyed the will of God by eating of the tree of knowledge from which they were forbidden: “And the LORD God commanded the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die’” (Genesis 2:16-17). Photos of a cute baby who was allegedly thrown in a trash bin and was found by residents in an undisclosed location are making rounds online.
These photos were posted on the Facebook page Miss Black Heart JPA on Sunday, June 7th.
The uploader said the baby fell asleep inside the plastic garbage bin with an empty stomach.
The problem is, the admin did not provide information as to where it happened and the identification of those who found the child so people could verify and probably extend help.
Netizens doubted the authenticity of the photos based on a simple comparison.
Notice that the trash bin in the first photo looks clean while in the second photo, the trash bin with the child in it appears dirty.
Some social media users said they believe that the second picture was photoshopped.

I think it’s one positive point man can get from this superstitious phenomenon. Sadly, people tend to over believed and assumed that the place of apparition is a holy ground. The face of Jesus Christ appeared on the hillside after the landslide last Saturday (March 21) in Putumayo, Colombia. The news of this event spread like wild fire, hundreds of believers flocked the site to witness the “miracle” and to worship. The police had to be called in to manage the huge number of people coming from across the country.
This religious event gives the local landowner a chance to earn. They are charging visitors to have a peek at the holy image, according to a local newspaper El Tiempo.
However, though the photo had been circulating on the internet, there are some who claimed they can’t see the image of Christ. Like this Twitter user Magui, @AdasOz, said: ‘Congratulations to those who can see the face of Jesus in landslide in Putumayo. ‘I just see a mountain of earth surrounded by trees.’
The claim of @AdasOz is likewise supported by Ximena Rosero Arango stating, ‘If you believe in Jesus, you will see your image,’
